I want a Standing Stud like Lyndy. That says it all. ~ Sharon, MI.
I would have either killed or been killed in For A Sheik’s Love, because unlike Leelah/Sapphire I am a mouthy AMERICAN bitch. – Jennifer, WV.
I liked Tovah and Lyndy so much I carried them in my mind for few days. Not too many characters touch me like that. And, never a high fashion model. They’re usually such divas that no one can stand them. Tovah was grounded by her Midwestern roots. – Debi Housewife. Illinois.
My family owns a cabin in northern Michigan and I’d PAY to have a Caretaker named Ricky waiting when I went upnorth. – Jody, Detroit, MI.
I have horses and frequently go on camping trips but I’ve never had the sexual ride Oony does in Ceremonial Pleasures. And better yet, I’m Native American and NOT offended that the two Native American Professors were hot and horny-and for the same women. Lucky Leona. – Marilyn, a teacher in ND.
I never would have dreamed a man could be turned on by playing music, but now I do. Some music does have a certain sexual energy to it. And don’t we all wish we were stuck in an elevator with a hunk? I would enjoy a black-out for that kind of sexual adventure. – Karen, NYC
I thought “The Bride’s Ride” was contrived and sometimes too long. But it’s nice to have a storyline where a woman matures into her own strong self and for once a man overcomes his own sexual demons haunting him. The parts about the Hudson River estates are as real as real gets without physically being there. Overall it was a decent read, but not a re-readable one. – Justine, MA
